beh memeh dooblele-veh

when my dad drove it in the driveway, i RAN to get my camera. I took a few glamur shots...man, this car rides like a dream. Posted by Picasa

hehe, i'm a lewser

i guess when i was trying to post them, i saved them as drafts...and i didn't ever publish em...wow. but i'm learning the ropes of this whole blogging thing...it's all under control now. you all can return to your normally scheduled lives.

DAH!

NOOO!! i had a ton of pictures, but i guess the site got sick of them or something. Has that happened to anyone? you place a TON of blogs on your site and then you go back a few min later and they're gone? all that time and effort wasted...meh, i'll just have to reload em, i guess.

i hope everyone's lives are going peachy! as for mine, school's flyin by and i'm almost free to coast till thanksgiving. for which, i'm espically happy for! i'm going down to misquite NV! i'm psyched! my grandmother has a pretty nice condo...i can't wait to get out of this frigid weather we've been having...(::sarcastically:: grrrreeatt...it's not the heart of winter yet and i'm already wussin' out. ) life goes on.

for my political science class i'm supposed to write this paper on one of the problems the Bush Administration has faced, or is currently facing. I've decided to do it on foreign policy. I mean, what better topic than that! Especially in light of his current travels to South America and Asia. I dont think the president is saying something right. it seems like everyone's getting mad at him. I'm not trying to support him...but yeah...he's the one that gives America our name...no offense, but that makes me nervous...

meh, if you have ne ideas...blog em, comment em...do something with em...because this world and government is NOT for the faint, weak, or apathetic.

the look

believe it or not, this is this woman's first time modeling. she did a stellar job if you ask me. bravo ;) Posted by Picasa

fire to smoke

this is just a quick shutter speed shot. nothing spectacular. messed a little with post production. thought it gave it a smokey feel as you near the top. Posted by Picasa

i shot the moon

a few mornings ago i was getting
off the bus up at the University of Utah and walked around the corner to THIS. i thought it was pretty rad, so i shot it.

I kinda like sayin' that. "yeah, i thought it was cool, so i shot it." I swear i've shot everything...kids, grandparents, animals...haha.

yes, i know. i'm morbid...
gimme a break, i'm in one of those wacko moods. Posted by Picasa

main street

just a pretty simple, self explainatory shot. long exposure to capture all the artificial light. das about it. Posted by Picasa

November Rose

November rose. It WAS warm enough here in utah a few weeks to grow the seasons last group of roses. this one was my favorite. gotta love roses. Posted by Picasa

gynormous waterfall

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

this picture was the 9th picture i had taken with my new camera, w/o reading the manual or ne thing...i was luuuuckee to get that one as good as it is...WB is a little off...meh...

harvest moon

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

also on Mt. Timp...whatta rad day to snap pictures...on this one, i clicked the mode switch to Portrait. Usually the manufacturer's settings for Portrait, enhance reds, yellows, and oranges. Quickly thinking, i snapped it in that mode in order to capture, of course, the reds, yellows, and oranges of the trees/sky.

pinecone decor

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

yes, pinecones. this is at my work. oddly in the restroom. but i thought the light through the window gave these pinecones a little life...i switched my f-stop to 3.0 and shot those innocent little pinecones...muwhahaha!

Dew Drops

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

i was lucky to snap this pic...this is the second week i had my camera, and i was just learning about depth of field...lucky for me i paid attention in class. looks perty ok

one wheel

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

so i have the rad-est cousin. he's 5. and he's really smart. cept for he likes skateboards (no offense to those hardcore skaters). skateboards aren't really an ideal toy for this monotemperatistic kid. he is constantly stuck in hyper. meh, i thought i'd be a good photo oppotunity. one wheel. rock on ashton.

soft waterfall

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Side waterfall on Mt. Timpanogus, Provo, UT probably the 20th picture i snapped with the camera, i had no idea what setting it was on...i just pointed and clicked...go camera! taht was no inginuative struggle on my part, whatsoever

steinway macro

Steinway Macro of the Seat Adjustment System.

in short, i love piano. I love steinway. I take picture of steinway.

frozen water

frozen water....

almost.

this is up at the University of Utah, just that creative waterfall due east of Marriot Library

purple flower

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
just your cliche flower shot. the pollen was supposed to be in focus, pardon the lack o' skill

fall yellow on sky blue

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

this shot, also taken at the u, was interestingly composed. my camera's view screen thingy can pop out and rotate (Cannon G6). So i gotta compose this one 'upside down' sorta. anyways, i just liked the colors...HOT yellow...and COOL blue...

hesster-iffic!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

this pic is similar to the one above...they are good friends...i was very pleased with how this picture turned out. espically with a little picasa magic, hehe. believe it or not, this was HER idea to take the umbrella and everything. it's all about the pose.

drops

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

at the u. super macro-ed shot. just some rain drops that have collected on the tips on a tree. nothing too special...i like this shot, and macros alltogether, for the intimacy it gives with the viewer. it's to the point.

self pic

Image hosted by Photobucket.comthis is a self portrait of me. kinda dramatic. I had to do it for an assignment in my class...i'm not conceeded by any means. It is smudged on purpose to cover my lack of shaving.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
dad got a new bwm. it's pretty rad. needless to say, i've taken a few pics

today

today's just an ordinary day. went to school. got home. helped a friend with a problem. did some math. ate some food. going to bed.
